A lack of

There is an obvious need for more Icelandic lessons, but none are available.

I just looked for them online and every class is full and seem to be booed up for a while, at least there was no open classes in sight.

How can people expect us to learn Icelandic then not have classes available?

Then there is the cost:

These classes, if you get in, are far from cheap. A couple hundred dollars for 2 nights a week.

The theory is that when you finish, your union will reimburse part of the cost to you.

What happens if you do not have that kind of money to spare in the first place?

What if you can not get a job because you can not speak Icelandic? If you are not employed you have no union to help.

The entire system can be so frustrating!
