Still Sick

I am still feeling pretty badly, but I think it is getting better.

I saw the doctor yesterday and am now taking antibiotics, they seem to be helping.

About the antibiotics, they are strange. I only have to take one a day. This is much better then the ones everyone takes in Canada that you have to take three a day.

The doctor also recommended a steroid nasal spray to use next time I catch a cold to prevent this happening again.

Poor Thing

I saw this poor cat on my way home today. I guess someone must have thought it would be funny to shave off his fur.
It is not even warm out!
If we were not all allergic to cats, I would have brought him home.

Yuck!

I seem to have gotten a sinus infection. I feel horrible and disgusting. I can not breath through my nose, my throat is full of crap and my entire face hurts.

I called the doctors office, but for some reason they would not let me make a regular appointment for today or tomorrow. The receptionist told me that because I do not have a regular doctor I can only go into an after hours clinic, I can call in the morning to get an appointment for tomorrow night. I tried telling her I had been in during the day before, but it did not go so well.

So tomorrow night I can spend a small fortune to get to see a Doctor, just to get a prescription so I can spend some more money.

I am too excited.

I might have to take a nap for this.

Easter Break

The nice thing about not working in a restaurant is that I get the Holidays off. Another great thing, is that it does not effect my pay.

The entire family gets 5 days off together. I am so excited!

We are planning a little trip to see some sights in other parts of Iceland.

The boys, March 26, 2007

Stefán's New Baby

Davið is just now taking the boys out shopping.

Kasper wants a fishing rod and Stefán wants a baby brother.

He has been walking around for a few days now with an invisible baby wrapped up in blankets. He tells us this is his baby brother. He takes good care of him. He puts him to bed, gives him snacks and sets him up on a chair to play toys at the table. This is why we decided it was time for a doll.

I hope people do not laugh at him to much, our neighbour already did, it is cute to see this sensitive side of Stefán.

Some Sad News

I was very sad to hear today that my dad can not make it to Iceland this year.

I guess there is just not enough time this year but he hopes to make it next year.
