Bus Passes

Its that time of year again, time for the bus pass pictures. Actually it took 4 years for Keilir to ask us for new pictures. This means no one looks like the picture on their pass anymore.
So we took some new pictures with my phone to send in. Leó did not actually need a picture because he is still free on the bus, but we did not want him to feel left out. Kasper's cranky look is very suitable for the moody teenager he has become. He is actually, usually, just fine, unless he doesn't get his way.

Family Scout Camp Out

So the scouts had a family scout camp out and it rained the whole time. Aside from us there was only one other family in an actual tent, but I'm not counting. I did not get a lot of pictures but was pleased to see that scouts all over the world use gasoline to get a decent fire going.

Stefán at camp

Stefán is coming home from camp today, but his camp was in the news yesterday. If you watch close you can see my middle boy, such a sunshine!

Stefán, Leópold and Ko-Leen

Davíð had a boys weekend with a Nick Cave concert and fun fun fun. So I wanted to have a mom and the kids weekend, but the oldest is far to cool for this and refused to join in. Regardless, the 2 younger boys and I had a great time going to the movies (Epic), eating Subway, going swimming, eatting candy and going for brunch. Sometimes we just need to spend a weekend doing nothing productive but hanging out with the kids. They are growing up so fast!

After a long swim in the mosfellsdalur swimming pool, complete with lots of trips on every slide, the boys and I enjoyed some sun in the grass. After the worst spring ever, I really really am liking this goos weather.

The great escape

While walking out of our building the other day I noticed this sight outside our building. It appears asthough the children across the hall have been trying to make a break for it. I am only glad they used a doll to test the rescue rope before they tried to climb done themselves. As you can see, the doll did not make it.

Stefán on his way to his first international scouts weekend campout. There was swedish scouts there aswell. Stefán was the leader of the scouts from keflavík.

Davíð took us out for some Thai Keflavík, we ate Sushi. Only in Iceland would you go to a Thai resturaunt to order sushi.

As you can see, even in Iceland it can be to sunny to sit on the patio. We loved it.

Best birthday present ever. Laura bought me this awesome addition to our family of coolness. Best part is how well it works.  Finally we have music.
