Carbon Tax

Now this is what Iceland needs. A tax directly on energy like gas that will be used to fund great things like public transport.
If a few Kronur was added to every liter of gas bought, then that same few Kronur was invested into public transportation, we would have a great bus system.
They could switch all the buses to hydrogen.
It would be much cheaper to take the bus.
People would change there ways.

I really think so.

Or at least you might see a few less SUV's trying to fit down these narrow roads.
